Specific Duties include but not limited to:
- Support administration of the Willamette Volunteer Program in partnership with the National Forest to include:

- Manage the CV volunteer database. Troubleshoot as necessary to support volunteer and partnership use of the system and associated data.
- Serve as point of contact and manage volunteer reporting directly to the Forest and others as needed for all programs
- Any other general tasks related to volunteers and interns
- Plan and coordinate logistics for volunteer skills trainings
- Assist in implementation of the Willamette Volunteer Operations Plan.

- Create volunteer communications, such as:

- Bimonthly volunteer newsletter
- Trainings and shift schedules
- Outreach and promotion

- Complete all volunteer onboarding, maintenance and assessments, and offboarding to include:

- Recruitment appeals
- Volunteer selections
- Necessary volunteer paperwork – service agreements, consent forms, emergency contacts, supplemental agreements, Job Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment confirmations, etc.
- Uniform elements, certifications, gifts, food, housing, and operations manuals as needed

- Plan/Support Annual Events, such as:

- Volunteer Recognition
- Backcountry Film Festival
- Community Outreach Events
- Cascade Chats Speaker Series

- Liaise with Forest Service staff

- Work jointly with forest staff to identify new opportunities and address unmet needs for volunteers on the National Forest
- Develop relationships with staff and help build and maintain trust between staff and volunteers
- Facilitate/Lead/Attend meetings as necessary

- Perform any other general needs identified by Cascade Volunteers or the partnership

- Experience in volunteering
- Some knowledge of volunteer recruitment methods
- Strong MS Office and data entry experience
Working Conditions:
This position will be roughly 95% in an office environment working at a computer and 5% serving in the field. Some weekends and evening shifts are required.
