DESCRIPTION:Want to give back to the Willamette National Forest while you hike? Join us as a volunteer in our invasive weed surveying program! This training will introduce you to some invasive weeds found in our wilderness areas and teach you how to submit your survey reports. The training will be led by Willamette National Forest botanist Jennifer Lippert. Before the training we ask that you: \n\nSet up a volunteer account in EDDMaps from a laptop at home (https://www.eddmaps.org/)\nDownload the Wild Spotter App for the type of handheld device you are using (iPhone\, tablet\, etc)\n\nNo need to register in advance.
